I play on a pre WWII sax made in czechoslovakia. The Tenor is so old it does not even have a serial number. It creates the most warm and rich sound i have ever heard in a sax and im very proud to own such a historical artifact!! just thought some people might find this interesting.

I'm an amateur tenor saxophone player(although I am the section leader in my school band :P), I just watch in admiration when I hear and see people like that playing the instrument and how much I need to improve on playing the sax. Thank you for dedicating me.

Im switching from alto to tener this christmas, been playing alto now for 7 years, excited for the tener. People like this guy inspire me to get better, and the fact that Tener saxophone is the sexiest instrument in the planet ;) I hope to put a few vids on youtube after i get it and practice a bit.

YES!!! there both really fun... the tenor is easier to play but harder to learn... i just started playing alto and its really fun, now im into tenor, there both great instraments to play. GOOD LUCK!!

Like all saxes, it takes a couple of years of practice to get a tone quality such as Ivans. I've been playing the sax since the sixth grade as well. I started on an alto and in the seventh grade switched to the tenor. Its A LOT of fun. If your school has a jazz band, I HIGHLY recommend joining. Jazz and the tenor are meant to be together. Have fun with your playing. Hope You enjoy it. -49nst.
