Latent joy at the celebration of Holy Mass. Lovely! But honestly, I'd say the same about any Mass regardless of its rite. The most important things are reverent, communal celebration of God's love for us & reverent reception of the Body & Blood of Christ. La paix de Christ soit avec vous, mes frères et sœurs congolais ! Many comment on the dignity or lack of dignity of the church celebration presented in this video. Best way to decide, would be to learn from someone within the culture, whether it is dignified. I'm not within the culture, but find appreciation for the steady rhythm and great unity of expression, and the use of one's whole body, heart, soul and mind that seems expressed here. My own hunch is that they wouldn't even have participated, were it not dignified. Still, it would make more sense to hear from people within the culture (or cultures?) of the Congo, how do they perceive it?
