Time and time again, we've seen how team synergy is more important than having world champ winners or individual performances. Maybe we'll see them flesh out more as a team in the coming matches or not since it's hard to build chemistry in a short span. The same has been seen with Sen who took almost 800 days to finally form the synergised comfortable team that they look. Just my 2 cents btw

Yeah I mean I thought we learned last year that chemistry, creativity and coaching meant more than being a super team. EG was no superteam, and they won Champs. Player quality is important, but there's plenty of gamers with aim. Your system and synergy as a team is way more important.

It’s funny looking back at this and seeing (with the exception of GenG) people repeatedly trying to take on SEN’s Split and just getting thrashed. I think NRG and LEV losing is the most interesting outcome cause then we’ll get to see what they do to adapt. Putting a whole bunch of champions on a team and then just winning everything is a boring narrative (as much as I’d love to see NRG dominate)

I think they prepare more on Split coz they knew Split were SEN's map, that's why they got confident with anti-strating Split rather than Lotus, but SEN were just that good on that map anyway. Or the team synergy isn't that fleshed out yet.

I think the main problem with NRG is Chet. Like what the hell is he doing in a game where innovation is key his ass is making his team play the most basic comps ever. Like it doesn’t make sense to me even EG were more than willing to change their comps even when they were already winning with certain comps. The moment I saw NRG on split against SEN, I told my friends, SEN has already won. There is nothing to watch. Every member of SEN is cracked on Split (with TenZ and JohnQT and Sacy just going boom boom boom). And the role switch between Demon1 and Victor in the 3rd map is a horrible idea. You have to switch your playstyle and mentality in such a short time that it's not a good idea. It's possible to do it but it's not a good idea at all. So when I saw this I told my friends straight up, "SEN is going to win this map, done deal. There is nothing NRG can do, especially when TenZ is the better Omen cuz TenZ's Omen on this map is unreal. And SEN is very very disciplined on Split, like just look at those peeks and that nade and that flash. They will wait to be combo, and you can see it clearly." I have no idea why NRG didn't ban this map. I was rooting for NRG on Sunset but they disappointed me there. Ascent was ok on NRG's end.
