Wooooow when you talked about the grades thing my mouth dropped 💀 my mom had us switch schools every year sometimes twice a year. Especially when I started doing things like signing up for events and doing after school programs. I’ve excelled in elementary and middle school, by high school I had given up hope and didn’t care about school anymore I decided. There was one particular year my hope was restored, I was in a really good art school, I was doing soooo good for myself, my grades were still a little iffy but I remember promising myself the next year I was gonna do so good in all my classes and all of my programs. Hmm, I am pondering my childhood and I can not remember some times of my growing up. It's like those times are blackout from my memory. I mean I had a hard life as a child but certain times are blank to memory. My siblings remember it well but not me. What i do remember though is that I did not like a particular aunt during my childhood and to this day, I still don't like her. I always distance myself from her. She has decline in health rapidly in recent times and i still do not visit or even call, distance is maintained. I feel like they want to put their spirits in the babies so they will always be tied to us. My mom used to tell me to not have kids when I was younger. It was such an insult to me. Like she thought I was so terrible she wouldn’t wish me on me. Or she thought I’d be a terrible mother. Now she keeps asking when I will have kids. Now looking back I think she was trying to reverse psychology me to make me want to rebel and be a teen mom. I was so shy so I wasn’t having bfs or sex at all when she would tell me to not have kids. Maybe she was trying to stir up rebellion because that is what would have worked on her to do something.

In my contribution, it reminded me of my daughter telling me that a friend of hers told her that she prays into her child's future and destiny to prepare his blessing. I was trying to see the connection of that to how Hannah had Samuel in difficult circumstances in the midst of God being silent then and in all that; Hannah lent her only son to God. When I was a little girl I remember many a time when I was punished physically mostly because I called something/someone out. I have always been expressive especially verbally when it was the right thing to do never to embarrass anyone. As a child, I didnt realize I was calling out some deep stuff and a few adults at that time nade me feel very uncomfortable. I grew up in the era when children are to seen bot heard and dont tell abybody whay gies on in the house we lived in. If its not right, Im gonna say something. If I dont like it im gonna share thise feelings. As I aged I began to be silent after all the trying to tell. I basically became a "Mute" for a oeriod of time in my youth. The family would always say, "We dont know whats wrong with her" Yes, they knew, They just rather wrote me off as "Crazy" or "Something Wrong" wiyh her to invalidate abything I had to say.
