Congress leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi, are currently in a meeting discussing seat-sharing for the upcoming polls in Maharashtra. The meeting, attended by senior leaders from Maharashtra, is deliberating on 96 seats that are up for grabs. Both the Congress party and Shiv Sena are aiming to emerge as the largest party in the Maha Vikas Aghadi. The Congress party is reportedly trying to accommodate both Shiv Sena and NCP, provided the seats given to these two alliance partners are winnable.
