I’m a flight attendant and that lady singing is absolutely in the wrong. She has a captive audience and feels the need to boast. It’s not the time nor place for that. The airplane is not a concert venue. People wanna sleep and relax and get to where they are going without added interruptions. And like you guys said not everyone on board is religious or practices said religion so it’s just in bad taste. Before the airplane can take off we need EVERYONE seated and paying attention to the safety demo, it’s very serious and if there are constant interruptions we will have to return to the gate and delay the flight

The first “who is the asshole” was so similar to what happened to me. I was in a car accident and shattered my ankle and couldn’t walk. so that combined with a new desk job I gained about 35 lbs as someone 5’. I was upset because of my weight gain and feeling very ugly because of my ruined leg. His response was “yeah I used to like you better before” immediately cut off the 3 year relationship. I still think of that comment every day and it impacted me emotionally so much. It really destroyed me. I never talked to anyone about it so hearing your opinions that I was/am warranted in how I feel really made me so happy.

It was even added to the UNESCO endangered heritage list because conflict has made it harder to make it (e.g. many ingredients can’t be accessed, and the dish relies on communities and communities can’t get together anymore😢), and since our neighbor has culturally appropriated it and claimed it as theirs for centuries :-( we are finally getting recognition for it! love the show as always and happy thanksgiving!

My bf and I have both gained weight since we met (for happier reasons fortunately), and I'm so so grateful that he doesn't care at all - he worries more about his weight gain than mine and we joke about getting old and chubby together 😂 It's such a great feeling when you realize that your relationship has grown to a point where a few kilos is the LAST thing that would ruin it. As an ex flight attendant.. this flight leader was in the right, he had EVERY right to tell her to calm down. And she is in the wrong for not following crew instructions, it’s actually an offense. I’m a female gamer, mid 30s. I can say with age if anything I’ve found even more enjoyment in it. I have a social life and a job so can’t get more than an hour a day mostly, but also have a couple of friends I game with on weekends sometimes. For me, going into those creative worlds outside of our reality is really great for resetting after hard days working in mental health.🤷🏻‍♀️ It also helps me reset after a day of sensory overload, but thats a tism thing 😬

The gaming talk is something funny to me. When my husband and I first got engaged, there were times I wanted him spending time with me, but he was busy gaming (nothing as bad as the guy in the story lol) One night, I took my engagement ring off and taped it to our bedroom door with a note that said "why don't you marry your game" and I locked the bedroom door for the night. He slept on the couch. We joke about it now and he said "man, that couch was really comfortable that night" 🤣😂 We've been married for 22 years, so it didn't affect our marriage lol.

The fact that he was trying to say he was concerned about her “health” but ends it with “I’m not attracted to you as much” means he’s using the health concern to be seen as a good guy instead of the shallow POS he is. He didn’t point out her health he pointed out her physical appearance. Statistically men are more 6x more likely to leave their spouse if the wife gets a cancer diagnosis. If I was her I’d run. He’s showing his true character and I’d HATE to have to deal with him when or if she becomes pregnant.

There are sooo many ways to address the issues without humiliation. Having a partner you can have honest conversations with, I feel is something you really have to work towards. My husband has been a saint. He encourages and supports whatever phase we are currently in. Us being able to have open honest talks saved my life. But one piece of advice to all, you cannot care more than the person involved.
