Congressman Langworthy to Host 50th Anniversary Vietnam-Era Veteran Pinning Ceremony

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) is proud to host a 50th Anniversary Vietnam-Era Veteran Pinning Ceremony, in partnership with the United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration. This special event will honor Vietnam War Era Veterans from New York’s 23rd Congressional District for their service and sacrifice.
The 2008 National Defense Authorization Act established the U.S. Vietnam War Commemoration to honor living U.S. veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces at any time during the period of November 1, 1955, to May 15, 1975, regardless of where they were stationed.
The ceremony will be held on July 1 at Cassadaga High School Auditorium, 5935 Route 60, Sinclairville, NY 14782, at 2:00 PM ET.
Congressman Langworthy invites all Vietnam War Era Veterans and their families to attend the ceremony to be formally recognized for their contributions. To receive a pin and be honored at the event, veterans are encouraged to register at langworthy.house.gov/vietnam. Community supporters are also welcome to attend and show their appreciation for these veterans.
