i personally like it when bands cover. Its hard enough to break down the wall being a new band, if you play something that people like and know in the beginning, they can see that you are a good band. thats when you hit them with some original stuff. Plus cover bands are a good way for tejanos to get their music. the hometown boys might not come to a smaller town all the time, but if you can get a damn good cover band to play old school tejano, i dont see the problem. those guys were great!

He moved because he could not hear himself in the monitor not to sound better. They sang these Hometown Boys songs because it was an homenaje(tribute) There are alot of bands/singers even famous one thats sing other peoples songs. There at fan fair I heard several songs played more than once by several different bands.
