I had to admit, The Xbox version with a duck tape is way darker than the N64 version, I remember it really freaks me out as a kid that I keep having nightmares about the cutscene that won't be able to skip it, to which I always skip that scene. A scary theme that plays after the death scene with high details just scared off my mind and even it still freaks me out as an adult. Also, THANK YOU SO MUSH for uploading this, I been looking for the Xbox compare N64 death scene cutscene for years.

Hell yeah, they should remake this game again but with way better controls cause honestly the live and reloaded version is still crappy. I would definitely love a remastered version with better controls, slightly different scenes as well, and even the original mini games? Lol I love this game.

The N64 was better. Sure the Textures and Polygon Count were not as good as the OG XBOX, however the Animation, Lighting, and Camera Work was far more superior in the original N64 game. Basically this is another Sonic Adventure type situation.

Yeah, it was probably a response by Rare to Nintendo for refusing to advertise this video game SOOO late in the N64's lineup inventory, just a year before retailers took the N64 off the shelves in 2002 in order to make room for the next generation of consoles: the Nintendo GameCube.

L&R looks like it's trying just a bit too hard. The entire point of Conker was Rare poking fun at themselves(specifically, the "cutesy" platformers they had built up their reputation with), and the overly "fancy" font during Live & Reloaded's game over screen replacing the charming Lithos Black of Bad Fur Day sort of undercuts that...not to mention the lighting. I'm not gonna say much, but it's WAY too bright for these scenes.

I believe nostalgia plays a big role in your feeling in matters such as these. For someone such as myself who's never played the N64 game, but replayed Live & Reloaded 4 times by now, I can safely say, yeah I prefer the L&R version over the N64. Personal bias is an unfortunate turn of events.

In order to trigger Game Over 1, with the Milk Carton, you need to do one of two things. - Get a Game Over before the cutscene where the Ze Professor tells the Panther King he needs a Red Squirrel or - Death by falling in a Bottomless pit at anytime.

Simply because of the backlash by critics on reviewing this game's prototype version (Conker's Twelve Tales) prior to release, which was dismissed as "another kiddie & family oriented game" such as other successes like Banjo Kazooie and Donkey Kong. That's why Rare decided to overhaul the whole thing into an adult spoof & parody of films from the 1940's-1990's. They were also running out of time because the N64 was taken off the retailer shelves the very next year to make room for the next generation of consoles: Nintendo GameCube and others.

I think that was a big thing for the xbox was that they were the strongest console on the market at the time, ESPECIALLY since 3d gaming was still pretty new. Even to this day, it's important for these companies to try to outdo each other to sell their product. However, we've seen time and time again where games tried their best to make things look as realistic as possible....it almost never ages well.... A game with a stylized look! That graphically ages VERY WELL . That being said, I think that they N64 model was actually a lot more appealing and expressive than the xbox version.... improved graphics ≠ better

@@frisby7143 Well in this particular video here the bloody bag is way too small. Other stuff is the animation. It is too stiff in the remake. Also the graphics. It looks mostly too "fancy" like the Game Over font here in the video. It was supposed to be a living cartoon. Next we have the cencorship, this is not my biggest issue. Some voices sound super weird, like the Gargoyle. I do not like Conkers "Fuzzy" look on the Xbox too. The multiplayer was completly messed up. I hated it on the XBox. It was brilliant on the N64. It is a good remake. I just think it cannot carry on the gelacy of the original
