Connect and record data to Google Sheets from Node-RED
in this video, I will show you how to record data to google sheet from node-red.
for further implementation, we can connect MQTT which then the data is stored in a google sheet

This was an outstanding example of using the Google Sheets node, guiding the user carefully through the necessary Google Cloud services and settings. One additional step I found I had to perform (March 2023) was returning to the Google Cloud project, navigating to APIs and Services, and enabling the Google Sheets API for that project.

You may face one more error message at the end. Follow the url in the error output and enable google sheets api, then it will start working

First of all, thank you for the video. I just have one problem. I want to print data to both column A1 and column B1 using a single inject. However, even though I select the same row, it does not write the data to the same row, it writes one of them to the bottom row. How can I solve this problem?

Unfortunately not. And i think it cant be. But one of the videos about nodered in youtube, i saw a difficult solution, with using google form and google sheet and node-red together.

When you set up your project you need to tell google which APIs you intend to use. You have forgotten to add that you will be using the Google sheets API

Hey ! I'm a French guy and I expect my English writes is understandable. I was stuck and I thinked Google maked somes change. I solved the problem. You just need to put "A1" for gets or write in the cell. Or you just write "A1:B2" for area. And, if you want to select a unique sheet. First, you need to rename it, like BAGUETTE. And after, you put "BAGUETTE!A1" for the cell A1 of the BAGUETTE sheet.

2:47 You will need to rename the sheet below to match the variable. For example, in the clip, use Sheet1! A2:A1000 and name the sheet below Sheet1. If you want to name it in a different way, you can set it and enter the name to match. It work!!
