Ok so, in my experience, a windows computer can’t recognize a ps3 controller so the script that we downloaded disguises the ps3 controller as an Xbox 360 controller allowing the computer to recognize the controller. Hope this helped with any confusion and if I’m wrong lmk

The scp server running in the background is what worked for me. I have a laptop and this was the best and easiest method. You earned a sub dude, keep it up 🤘♥️

worked really well, another tip, if it doesnt connect the controller after installing the code, you might have to restart your device

This works! I already spent unnecessary money on crap like last year or this year with stupid controllers and usb hook up devices and wasted time figuring out useless apps to recognize controller. Went back to my moms house and didn’t bring anything with me so I found my old ps3 controller and it worked. I had to install all of it then reboot computer then it works. Thanks bro 😎

This Scp works well, the problem I found out is; if after using the controller you don't remove the Scp service running on Windows, everytime you try to suspend your system you'll get BSOD. The workaround I found is to manually stop this service after gaming and re-enable it to play again.

I just wanted to say thank you so much for making this video, and that goes for every user who posted a video about SCP Drivers. I remember being confused in finding SCP "Scarlet Crush Productions" on my previous computer and had to look it up for a new computer. Turns out I had to do this process years ago and then just forgot about it so these videos have helped me at least a couple times now.

What I don't like with the program is that the PC now "recognise" it as an Xbox controller instead of a PS3 controller. I don't own or play Xbox at all, and those letters sometimes confuse me. I know A is X, B is circle, Y is square and X is triangle, but when stuff like quick time events pop up, I have to quickly mentally say "B IS CIRCLEEEE!" and hope I'm fast enough 😥

I just thought I would let everyone know, for those GTA classic game fans out there: The PS3 controller will not work for GTA 1 and GTA 2 games on Windows 10+ but after over 2 months of testing different controller emulation apps I bought a Windows 10 Xbox Controller, that's the one with the little black color USB connector. It works wonders for GTA and you can play both games on Win 10 or 11 with the Xbox 360 controller! We love PS3 controller. It is Not OK that we cannot use it for GTA 1 and 2!
