I mostly work with oracle but a recent project requires a local mongoose database. Most videos seem to use mongodb on the cloud which works but I can't get my local copy to connect and recognise the model schema any thoughts appreciated

I had (bad auth : authentication failed) error. dotenv was missing here is a command to instal it using your terminal: "npm i dotenv", then also add this line in top of your app.js file: "require("dotenv").config();" good luck! Thank you forthe video, in the next video you will explain this however I already got error here.
