Run standard ps4 , remove nor, patch with BwE validator, refit hookup uart thats it..

with the PS5 if the renesas chip in the disc has faILD there is not much you can do other than try turning disc of in the Nor to see if it will let you update but you will on have on the on board ssd to use

Hello Steve, great video, I have a problem the ps4 does not work properly it takes a long time to get white light. When I open the serial port I get the putty with the black screen moving the cursor, I have been able to find out that it is because the ps4 has had the jailbreak and therefore launches the encrypted information. Do you know how I can solve this to be able to see the information through the putty?

You will still need to set the 2 bytes in the nor to enable the uart to work. Dump nor and use validator as in this video or my latest video

I used the ps4 nor validator to activate the uart mode and I have connected the TX and GND cables, the problem seems to be that it is encrypted by the jailbreak of the console as I have seen in this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/a5jOgn2Al7aUm7c and I don't know how to decrypt it.

@@manuelrodriguezlatorre8978 it must be the jailbreak causing the uart problem, when you set the 2 bytes in the nor it enables debug . I can only assume that the jailbreak has caused the system not to start debug. Ill have to try my jb ps4 on uart and sed what happens, im sorry i dont have a answer right at this moment.

Hello, I have obtained the binloader.bin file for firmware 6.72, I am trying to load the payload through the nor validator in the patches option. Doing so tells me select the start address in hex format (eg. 0x144200). Do you have any idea what the hexadecimal address is to start with?
