Your astral body contains emotion and intellect. The physical body is just an illusion of the 5 senses. So whatever you think, is going on in Astral realm. Even the dreams belong to Astral Realm. So during meditation your doing both.

I have one question. I remember as a kid, staring into a curtain in my bedroom. And after some time, I sort of became that curtain. I dont know how to explain this but I was able to experience the presence of the curtain as someone else, not as the body. It was afternoon time and I was a fairly active 12 year old kid with absolutely no initiation or spiritual inclination, or any drug abuse issue. Its weird what I felt.
