If i just do the same steps it doessnt draw the polyline instead it asks to choose a starting point, dont know what to do

That's almost impossible. Please watch the video carefully and make sure that you are following every step shown in the video.

@@devrajmalviya9346 A 3D point should have 3 coordinates (X,Y,Z). Extract the points using a Macro. My channel has a video on this procedure and you can find it in the playlist for Programming in AutoCAD. And this video explains how to join these coordinates to construct a 3D polyline.

@@AjayAnandXLnCAD continuing the same topic sir, i have all 3 coordinates (x,y,z) and i pass a poly line (3d) through these points, but when i try to convert this poly line into alignment in civil 3d software the software demands a 2d polyline. In that case i convert 3d polyline into 2d polyline, but the 2d polyline converted is taking a single level only ( in z direction)whereas i expecting it to take all the different levels provided. What i should i do? Hope you understand my issue..
