I used to know one of the officers, Officer Dustin. For maybe 1 or 2 of my middle school years, he worked at my school. Protecting students and teachers of all kinds. He always greeted us with a smile, every time I saw him he was smiling, talking to kids, getting to know the middle school students or the staff. I remember the day we were told that he was going to leave as he got a better job opportunity, we were all sad of course but happy that he could get better job. He truly made me feel safe, knowing that he would protect us if that time ever came. My condolences to all his family, he was truly a good man and he won't be forgotten by me or any person who knew him.
