i feel like that Napheesa Collier, Bridget Carleton, Myisha Hines-Allen (even though McBride, Alanna, Courtney, Hiederman were really good defensively) were the only ones to show up tonight against The Connecticut Sun (Alyssa, DeWanna, Marina, DiJonai, Veronica & Olivia were very good while Brionna was ok.) in Game 1. i know people will say that Phee should have went for a 2 instead of a 3 in the last 11 seconds of the game but were not sure if The Lynx would have won or been able to tie the game to overtime but all The Lynx and Coach Reeve can do now is prepare for Game 2 & come out strong.

Because she's not ready. Thomas and Jones would obliterate her, she doesn't have the physicality of Alanna or Mysha. I'd love to see her and Cecilia get some playing time, but I guess Connecticut would be a bad match up for them.

The Sun need to thank the Sky for giving them Mabrey. First, they trade K. Copper to the Mercury, and then they traded Mabrey to the Sun. The gm for Chicago has made a lot of bad choices, but they decided to fire Coach T-Spoon after a decent season with a lot of injuries. I wanted Minnesota to win but they will be better on Tuesday because they have Coach Reeves.

Mabrey had an off game last night for the Sun, but every time I watch her play it is a reminder to everyone how bad, toxic and dysfunctional the Sky organization is for having to make such an awful trade of Mabrey to the Sun. Speaking of toxic, some Sky fans are saying that Mabrey threw games when she was on the Sky to be able to justify getting rid of a wt player. Best of all, when Mabrey does well with the Sun, it is another smack to the face of Sky fans, which is ALWAYS a good thing.
