Trouble is, the Webbflow dashboard has changed since this was published. You're now dealing with a TXT record as well and a Verify Domain step, which isn't covered in this video. Think you need to update this video as it'll only create confusion.

Why don't you easily allow for using Cloudflare with Proxy enabled with Webflow? Cloudflare allows for SO much more caching functionality than Webflow allows for and it's putting us into a position of considering leaving Webflow in order to speed up our site. Playing more friendly with Cloudflare seems like such a no brainer for Webflow. Please, allow Cloudflare CDN and proxied status :(

@@jo69123 struggling a bit to describe differently the benefits here. Cloudflare has incredibly powerful caching, bot detection, and CDN caching capabilities. There's entire writeups and videos showing how much of a workaround it is to get a Webflow site working with Cloudflare. Even just for starters, arbitrarily requiring a custom SSL certificate (Enterprise tier) in order to not have Webflow fail to renew the LetsEncrypt SSL certificate (that isn't even needed if you're using Cloudflare). Webflow is actively making it difficult to use Cloudflare which brings with it a myriad of speed benefits, added functionality like page rules, and more. Genuinely don't know how else to describe or explain this. Webflow's engineering team 100% knows they are purposely making using Cloudflare more difficult arbitrarily. Have we implemented it? Yes, it speeds up our site and is the only thing keeping us on Webflow at this point, and every 3 months our site goes down due to an SSL issue, to which we need to disable Cloudflare and then re-enable Cloudflare once Webflow renews the SSL certificate. So yeah, it's a complete and total mess and the #1 reason why we're actively looking to get off of Webflow.
