Nice demo for the wiring of the semaphore to Lionel 153 IR Sensor. I have one on my layout or though I used a toggle switch to operate the semaphore. I like the diagram you made to explain how they are wired together.

Hi, Nick. Thanks for watching and commenting. I like your switch approach. I also 1:39 intend to add a switch to control when the semaphore motor activates. I don’t want it to operate at all times. Light will be on, not necessarily the solenoid.
