Hi Crossfader, What settings do I need to toggle for the DDJ FLX4 using DJ PRO AI (Algoriddm) on iPad Pro for headphones pre cueing? Ive connected the controller to the iPad and the DJ Pro is running fine and can hear audio out of the speakers, however, I can’t seem to hear our of my headphones. Am I missing something in settings. Please help. Thank you

Hello. Great tricks! Using bluetooth and cable i successfully connected my DDJ200 AND my Reloop Mixtour to my iPad and Djay is able to use both: ddj200 is used to control music with jogs and sound output and cueing is going through the Mixtour ! Everything works out of the box and flawlessly. Next step will be to remap some keys of the mixtour to add more DJ features like direct FX management.

Been using my Pioneer WeGo4 for 4 years and love it. Was thinking of getting the DDJ400 but after seeing you have to mess about with a splitter for charging I’ve gone off the idea. Why can’t you charge from usb like you can on the WeGo4

Does not work with dj prime go. At least not without an app. What app are you using ? OutrhYthm ? I cant find it anywhere…. Apps just still use the internal microphone when i plug his in.

Great video, I've just bought the numark mixtrack platinum fx, I've connected it to my 3rd gen 2018 iPad Pro using a usbc usba hub with charging for ipad, to use with Algoriddim Djay AI. But the mixtrack won't come out of demo mode! I've gone into settings in DJay & clicked Midi Controllers & the mixtrack platinum fx is there! But the controller won't work as its in demo mode! Please help

Are you using the lighting to USB adapter? Do other items connect correctly? It could be a faulty connector and/or USB cable?

Yea mate, it works great. Just need to use a Lightning to USB Camera adapter or similar for your particular device. (eg: www.jbhifi.com.au/products/apple-lightning-to-usb-3-camera-adapter?queryID=0e9974a50bacc5c4b0b33970912fa869&objectID=948047)

Chris buy a Usb hub that is adaptor power because unfortunately your controller can charge thru the usb adapter

I can see you plugged in DJ controller to IPAD directly buy does Ipad have enough juice to power a controller? Also I am trying to plug my controller to my Iphone using your second example. You can use a splitter such as this one for charging the device. We have linked the lightning port but the iPad pro uses a USB C www.amazon.co.uk/Belkin-Lightning-Rockstar-Adapter-Charging/dp/B01LXFKSNA Hope this helps!

Doesn’t work for iPad 2020 + DJ 400. everything works but you cannot charge and connect all devices at same time. Even if you use a power bank or charger on it you don’t have enough power supply. It uses the internal battery for the software and use the adapter to power the controller 😢

unfortuately the system is only working with the usb-c iPads! I would have been great, if you guys would have done that with an old lighting-ipad as well... cause: using an old (lightning)iPad, the controller needs more power, than the lighting-ipad is offering, so with an old i pad there needs to be used as well a strong usb-charger connected (camera adaptor) with the iPad + the controller! without it won't work! sorry FR
