Connecting IC6 & IC7 Console to Smart Phone for Coach-by-Color

At my local gym we have many of these bikes. Whenever a group is riding they all pop up as "Bike 1" and nobody can figure out which one to connect to. How do you change the number of the bike?

after you paired the app there was a symbol and number in the upper left of the computer console. what does that mean???

That is effort points. A single metric riders can measure their session with. White is 1point. Blue is 2points per minute and so on for all the colours

Answering quite late but it's in the ICG App in the Settings -> About You -> Edit Data -> FTP (second last option)

how do you amp up your resistance? do you do that on the physical bike or through the app?

You manually adjust resistance on the bike, based on the directions you receive from the app

Why do you need the phone when you have the console

Great question!! One reason to use the phone is that it has programs and suggests different resistances and speeds to help vary up the you workout.

Does the IC7 work to zwift?

Yes. Zwift can read power from the bike via Ant+ the new console can do BLE. Zwift can not control the bike in anyway.
