Go to Personal document folder
Create a folder - “Power BI Connector”
Create a subfolder - “Custom Connector”
IMPORTANT : Copy and Paste the files in the extracted folder into the folder named "Custome Connector"

Hi Daniel, I am not sure what I'm doing wrong. I followed the steps but still couldn't get the custom connector to show up in power BI GetData. Any idea, how can I fix it?

I had to create the Power BI Desktop folder, there create Custom connections folder in My documents and that wordked for me . i.e. My Documents-->Power BI Desktop-->Custom connections
