Roughly triple the size of San Francisco, but don't destroy the bay, because that's what makes San Francisco San Francisco. Triple the size because they are getting tons of goods and they can have over 600 population, but they have much less because they are limited due to the amount of land they have. Also, if you want to increase NYC's population, do something about the emissions, it will help a ton. You can do 2 things to reduce them. First, you can adjust the airport flight paths to not be flying over NYC. Second, you can maintain your vehicles so that they give off less emissions. NYC is taking a big hit because of the emissions, and it's easy to fix them. This is not necessary, but why not make a train route through mountains (not just tunnels, but a scenic train route), and perhaps maybe even a highway/road, similar to California's Route 1?

I don't remember if you did it intentionally but line 14 - your food to phoenix interchange has two locomotives. that's why the revenue is off. Also, even though all cities are connected there's plenty of optimization left. one thing you could do is start having dedicated cargo lines and redo the large rail connections as they are potentially slowing down the transport.

You still have a lot of raw material sites unconnected, as well as several production facilities unattached. Maybe use road access for the suburban plants.
