In this video, we take a practical look at Virtual Network peering (or commonly referred to as vNet peering). We look at all the caveats and also break down various myths.
Virtual Network peering is the way you connect two different Virtual Networks. It is one of the most common things that you will require while setting up networking in any environment. It enables you to seamlessly connect two or more Virtual Networks in Azure. The virtual networks appear as one for connectivity purposes. It sets up a low-latency, high-bandwidth connection between resources in different virtual networks.

This playlist is just wow. But since we are comparing AWS and Azure, i wish you present how internet gateway, rout table and NAT gateway functionalities are handled in Azure. Also may be a presentation on how any database is used in Azure. May God continue to bless you

Excellent video. Can you also do a video on peering between 2 VNets and then routing all traffic through a virtual appliance firewall ?

thank you so much! very well explained. Can you please confirm if you create peering from VNET1 to VNET2 - The VNET 2 will automatically show the peering from VNET2 to VNET1?

Hi, regarding your point at minute 2.30 in this video, will there be a latency seen if these VNETS Vnet_Dev01, Vnet_Dev02 are in different regions?

great video, we need a video that explains Azure DNS, there is big confusion in this area. Cross VNet name resolution, hybrid DNS, Private Domains, setting up forwarding etc...Thanks

Thanks for the video. where can I see the Gateway Transits option? can you please share reference link for that gateway transits? There are 3 VNETs and peered with VNET 1 to VNET 2 and VNET 1 to VNET 3. No VNET peering with VNET 2 to VNET 3. How to connect VNET 2 to VNET 3 without VNET Peering? Is there option of transits gateway option? can we create gateway transits without Virtual network gateway?

First i am not from Networking side, so don't even have even basic knowledge, so pardon me for level of my question. I see the address starting from X.X.X.4, why not Zero ? Also i see default Gateway which is using 1(so i am guessing 2 & 3 ) are used is some default setting, but why do we need gateway ? do we really need Gateway for each VNET that we create ? Can we create VNET peering between azure VNET and On-premise NetWork ?
