I'm happy you found it useful. Aliases are a great way to avoid security issues with 'hard coded' credentials in the connection. When creating spokes, they should be considered a best practice.

I'm a bit confused on the credentials. For instance, when i hit the login endpoint for my API I need to set a username and password that isn't part of ServiceNow. Would I set the username and password in the credentials? It doesn't seem like it because when I try to hit the /login page of my API, I get an invalid username/password. Is there a way to pass an object into the body of the request? I'm kind of new to REST in general.
