Excellent tour. For someone to acquire such a property, you should never put your house helper to sleep out of the main house. She/he must take up one of the rooms in the main house. The house helper is actually a very important person who becomes part of your family. That way you treat them better than your family. You will not have any problems. And thanks for quoting prices in our currency.

The house helper sleeps wherever the house owner pleases. Either wirh the kids in the main bedrooms or in the staff quarters. People have different stories and experiences with house helpers. Great suggestion but so everyone does as he pleases in his house.

The house is ok. But as a designer i would make a few changes such as expansive floor to ceiling windows to let in enough light into the living room kitchen and dining, indoor gardens or just a simple zen garden to bring the natural feel into interior, work on the kitchen colour pallete, introduce window seats in the bedrooms etc....but yeah, thumbs up to the designer of the house, it is just ok.

All the houses I have seen they don't put much concern about the back yard space yet it's the most important.

the price should reflect the type of client it is attracting, someone i know with a similar(bigger) home was spending ~1.5mugx a month just for amenities , his home was posted for 4bn tho😂 imagine this, 200k internet, yaka 300k(all those lights and other utilities), 200-300k water, dstv 280k(you cant be frugal on tv after splurging on the house, the bills add up real quick because you have not yet eaten with ur family on top of salaries for staff

Usually the basic monthly expenses would be water, electricity and a house help. I would give all that 650k ugx on the very high end. Water 200k (this is a stretch) Electricity 150k House help 300k Total 650k (170 usd) on the high end. The number also depends on how many people are using the house.

Uganda is still a third world country with a GDP of only 40 billion dollars a year, poor infrastructure why would I spend such money in Uganda yet i can get two 3 bed homes in Spain and Portugal or even Morocco........these countries have better infrastructure, security

@@ikondereagard1887 it's impossible, I have been to Uganda recently in March and whilst in Uganda I popped over to Zanzibar and in February I was in Morocco. Infrastructure in Uganda is at least 50 years behind these countries. Uganda is also a landlocked country that offers functions on debt from the International financial institutions. I travelled through Kampala, poor roads, pollution, dust and you trying to convince diaspora that house is worth over 50 K? 😂😂😂 Only fools would spend that kind of money on a house like that. For 100,000 I can get three storey building with 3 bed apartment on each floor in Morocco, a country with better national infrastructure, better decor , better access to medical care , they have better transportation infrastructure as in 🚆,tram system etc. these are things that matter when investing .My 4bed home in the UK was bought at the same price 5 years ago and you trying to convince me Uganda is better. Maybe you could sell this to someone who is less travelled.
