let me give you some advice for battling more than one ship take out their impulse engines first this will hamper their maneuverability I did this with the original bridge commander using a galaxy and 3 vorcha's I took out their impulse engines first then concentrated on their weapons and then destroyed them all.

Each ship that you battle, has different strength and weaknesses that you must pay very close attention too. It varies from century to century. From race to race. Once you learn, then you can be a Da' Har Master. 🤗

Instead of three Negh'vars try three Vorcha class. I would think the Vorcha is more in lined with the Ktinga than the Negh'var.

Unfortunately you cannot survive getting into a scrap in the middle of the whole pack of enemy ships. You need to string them out and give yourself some stand-off distance by picking one ship and keep them chasing you to an extent allowing you to actually fight three 1-on-1 fights instead of a 3-on-1 beating. Choose either the ship furthest port or starboard, use warp to gain their naked, undefended side and keep distance between you and him, using him as a partial shield between the other two further away, while your superior phasers degrade his shields. Every time they start to bunch up again, go full impulse and gain the ship on the pack's flank and string them out again. Their pulse weapons are far less effective at longer ranges and much easier to evade as well whereas your phasers do not suffer a time penalty, nor as much accuracy, as a virtue of distance. By getting in close with them, you are choosing to fight on their terms that best maximizes their types of weapons as well.

Negh'Var weapons are just too powerful, I think even 2 would be a challenge.

In that second fight, the critical hit that destroyed the port nacelle is what robbed you of one clear kill. You had the first ship dead to rights before the AI went into "kill the human" mode. Then again, the Neg'Var is supposed to be on par with a Galaxy class starship and the fact that it DOES take three of them to kill the new Connie says a lot.

Perhaps not playing to Klingon strengths would work standing off and pounding their shields then worp in smoke one down cool down and recharge your shields .

This is the reason they used a Galaxy refit refit instead of a Constitution refit refit in "All Good Things" against those Negh'Vars.

Realistically though, this seems to be upgraded more than the Constitution class should be able to handle. After a certain point a design simply can't be upgraded to maintain parity with modern ships. You see it all the time in current military technology. One platform that comes to mind is the T-72 tank. However some platforms are able to handle years of upgrades well past they're expected lifespan. The F-16 has been operational for 40 years and the f-15 50 years. The designs were so ahead of their time that they're able to be upgraded with current technology with small changes to the airframe over time. However, The Nimitz class aircraft carriers which have been around for 50 years are now superceded by the Gerald R Ford. The Nimitz class carriers have reached the end of their ability to be upgraded for the future.
