Just watched the Miley video of this tune just to see and hear the original. Quite the epic multi-million dollar production and IMHO a great song…. But somehow I find Connie's humble version far more moving! Once again baffeled by how I can be moved to tears by her voice… (I seriously don't get why or how but she's got a special magic. Maybe it's just her innocence? And an incredible amount of "soul" for someone her age!!!) IMHO, Connie doesn't need all the flashy production hype. She just stands and delivers straight from the heart. She's the real deal….. BTW, Also thought her friend did a great job on the back-up harmonies! Their voices blend really nice together. Looked like she was singing the whole time but for the sake of the production they just added her voice in certain places.
