Are you not smart? Physics plays a huge role in tile breaking. Follow through plus no pain from gloves. Equals. As many as you can do. Connor dropped his body weight with a crouch along with a well aimed downward chop. If he had done that with bare hands most likely it would have hurt significantly. Obviously.. So how does the gloves not do all the work in this situation? Most people if the use critical thinking can do the same technique and crouch while chopping downwards. It's easily mimicked. Good techniques are easily mimicked right? Why do I need to explain this?

Say you were to punch something with the exact same force, what do you think would hurt the most, an object that has no give to it whatsoever, or something that breaks? That's why following through is important. If you hesitate and don't break the tile it's gonna hurt more than if you give it all you've got and chop straight through, given that you have the strength to break it in the first place

Breaking tiles in martial art is mostly mind set as the teacher said follow through if u dont your hurt yourself if u stop all that momentum goes back into your arm so you keep the momentim going through

Karate plate breaking stuff is mostly fake since they are designed to be broken in the first place. For instance the wooden panel, you notice how they burst in perfect halves and the two halves don't look different when they use different pieces? It's in the construction of these props basically. They do have minor resistance but someone can power through it to break them if they are set up properly. For instance look at how 'heavy' the block looks, but in reality it probably has lots of air bubbles mixed into it to weaken it's density.

To reiterate Dragon it isn’t exactly fake, and it isn’t exactly easy but you could probably do it too with a bit of practice. The stack is shaped so you only really have to break the first 2-3, if you break them exactly in the middle, the weight of the broken halves help carry the momentum through the rest of the stack, each brick is breaking in shear first, concrete is very weak in shear

it's kinda fake. It's kinda like the ripping a phone book in half trick, Mthbusters did an episode on that like a decade ago and a similar principle is applied here. Because of how those tiles are set up and designed to be curved, he isn't just breaking every single tile, he's breaking every tile individually because those tiles are not stacked ontop of each other flat meaning so long as he kept moving, he was conserving energy and momentum because he was only breaking all the tiles individually and not en-masse. Granted, he is a well built guy and apparently had the mental fortitude to commit so those two things were him, everything else is basically a magic trick.
