As a female Winnipeg Jets fan and a Winnipeg Resident much of my life Seeing guys like Connor Hellebuyck and Mark Scheifele ani feel even Nikolas Ehlers may very well be A Winnipeg Jets Liferalso . But that they would choose to sign further 7 year contracts takes them to near the end of a Professional Hockey Player’s NHL Career which usually near age 40 is coming to a likely close . Both Connor and Mark will be 38-39 years old by then . Seeing Connor with his lovely wife and his Son and daughter is really nice . Being a loving father and perhaps choosing to raise his kids in Winnipeg warms my heart . It tells me he cares about being a part of our City and feels comfortable with his family living here . As Blake Wheeler had done with his wife and kids until last year . These are great videos with Sara Orlesky . Thank you Connor & Mark for believing in Winnipeg and The Jets !!! They do care !! It takes time and effort to build a Winning team !! This Era of the Jets got to ThecWestern Semi final in 2028 . Winnipeg Jets were unable to do that in the nearly 25 years between 1975 & 1996. 1.0 . In 13 Season s 2. 0 has done much better in just the last 3 years . Expecting too much right away out of the starting gate is nonsense . The more people think that are just wishing the team away . Which is what you sound like . A DOUBTER & A DOWNER !!

Keep in mind that many people expected Vancouver to miss the playoffs prior to the season starting but now those same people are expecting a deep playoff run based on how their playing. With how strong the Jets started the season, we expected them to at least clinch first place in the division. Nashville could catch up to the Jets even though there was such a big difference in points not even a month ago. Also, they shouldn’t lose games against WC or non-playoff teams since they have the best goaltender duo in the entire league by a mile. Teams would love to have a goalie like Connor and Laurent on the team
