3:10 I do my flash kicks with my left leg and if im not mistaken the leg you are to suppose to flash kick with its your inside leg (the one you use to swing into tricks and kick, like tornado and 540) you might've been doing flash kicks with the wrong leg the entire time haha but maybe its a personal thing. PD: no hate or anything but if you haven't done so I recommend training your hook kicks, do them slowly like you want them to look, don't forget to chamber and re chamber, and also get into a stretching routine to get flexible (recommend ktl lower body stretching routine) trust me man, my hook kicks improved a lot since i started doing both things, it takes time but its worth it 🙌
