If she was so savagely attacked, why was Conor McGregor not arrested for this 6 years ago, right after it happened? Nobody gets "savagely" beaten or raped and waits over half a decade to deal with it. (If she reported this to police very soon after the incident, then that might be a different case.) That alone really makes me question how good all the "probability" evidence was. Civil action is a means to monetary compensation but tellingly, it is often taken because there are not sufficient grounds for a criminal action. The threshold of proof is far lower. I think McGregors defence barrister should have fought more vigorously for at least a 50/50 male/female jury. Im not saying he is not guilty, however, it seems odd that some of these cases are only brought years after the alleged occurance and once the individual under the spotlight is seriously successful.

Obvious question; What in the world is a "married" woman doing going into a penthouse hotel room-in the AM hours-with 2 men (1 of them, Mcgregor, very drunk) anyway? It sure sounds fishy.
