Hi, great work! Iv been trying to get this look but I’m not sure what to say after the zero fade and side parting? The little bit of hair at the parting I want to have enough to comb down like on this video, how do I explain in barber terms!! Hi! So this is a high skin fade. You've done the right thing in showing your barber a picture. I'd tell your barber what you've said there and see what they say. Your hair may not sit like this or your barber may not think it will suit which may be why they haven't done it! Or like you say you may not have enough length there yet. The best way is to communicate with them

Iv told them I want more volume there for me too comb a little bit, but they seeem to be shaving it still, not right I to the head but still shaving it.Do you have to let it gradually grow and cut that bit to match in with rest until it gets too correct length or how does it work?

Is it going into a side parting style, Josh? Sounds like from what you've said that it's not being cut into a side parting and just being a high fade blended in. You really want that hair on the side to make it a side parting. You'll obviously need some length there to have it, but it isn't going to grow to that length if it's being shaved off

Hey Harry. Where do you live? He started with his hair not very long on top anyway so probably 1-2 inches off max. Leaving somewhere around 3-4 inches in the front. It's a zero fade on back & sides with a hard part side parting. Always best to show a picture though!!!

He's had a few different variations on it at times. But yeah he has had it longer there. In terms of the picture we used which was a cut just before the first press conference - the barber, Richard ended up doing it perfect. We were amazed how close he got it 👌

It's a barbers. A more modern shop though, can see why you'd think it might be a salon from the design of the store!

A barbershop would likely be better. It's more likely that a barber will be skilled in fading the hair. But if you go to a salon currently then you're probably ok - just make sure the hairdresser is trained in fading the hair if you've never had anything like that before
