Maybe I’m wrong but I feel like there’s a lot of benefit to sparring with guys who aren’t in the ufc. I imagine it gives fighters the confidence to experiment and work on things they normally wouldn’t try for fear of getting hurt.

His old style involved a ton of athletic young man karate type of stance and speed. Conor is not that dude anymore. Partying, money and time off has took a lot out of him and it shows.

The karate style Conor is overrated af and inefficient, can't even beat Nate. Slow ploddy counter boxing Conor was the best version, the one that fought Eddie was pretty much all boxing. Conor problem is not karate style, it's attacking aggressively instead of countering

From my own very limited experience with training, I’ve found that you learn very quickly to treat everyone you meet with respect because you never know who’s standing across from you. That unassuming person that looks unfit might actually be a world champion capable of seriously hurting you if they wanted to. It’s easy to be kind and respectful when you’re getting humbled in the gym everyday.

His biggest down turn was going boxing heavy it changed everything his stance the amount of kicks he threw. That was a huge part of what made him so lethal . Boxing maywether was the start of his down fall. If he wants any chance of coming back and getting a win he needs to go back to his original stance and style that got him to the top as well

Conor has always trained with nobodies, just playing with timing and technique. idk what people are seeing but Conor shot selection is looking pretty solid. Not as bouncy but his eyes are still sharp.

McGregor always training with dudes too scared of him or yes men willing never to challenge him. You never improve if you’re always leaps above your sparring partners, doesn’t mean he needs to have wars just people giving him different looks and challenges in different areas.
