@FizzLeeague3 жыл бұрын
Lol! Mature is a BIG stretch. I think Conor is an exciting fighter but he'll have to do a lot more than donate some of his money to the crisis to show himself to be a mature and decent HUMAN. It isn't cynical or unfair to say that we need to see more maturity from Conor before we don't just write off such altruism like his donation as a PR manoeuvre. In the last THREE years Conor has been in trouble with the law SEVEN times. That is disgusting. I am very glad that Khabib humbled him and punctured his bloated ego. Again with Floyd. I respect his fighting ability and his devotion to the craft but he is a garbage person socially and a terrible role model to young people. A little banter is funny/fine. Violence outside of the arena is a disgrace to the sport.
@Richwiking3183 жыл бұрын
@@FizzLeeague You mentioned things from 2 and more years back.. Didnt you watch the Cerrone fight m8? What else do you need?
@FizzLeeague3 жыл бұрын
@@Richwiking318 I need to see consistent maturity to match his consistent immaturity. So, when he's not broken the law for a few more years, whilst doing good things to show that he has changed (not just gotten better at concealing his misdeeds), I'll have what I need to call him "mature". The thing about the word mature is that it isn't achieved suddenly - think cheese, steak, wine, anything that matures; they all require time and patience. I've already acknowledged he's a great fighter. What I dispute is the claim that he is a mature/decent person, even if Cerrone did throw the fight, as the person below claims, McGregor is a thrilling fighter and an excellent striker, maybe the best. Nevertheless, I think we need to stroke the egos of great idols, not arrogant felons.
