@@jaysoncortell6668 I agree with you, he went zen many times in his prime, the ultimate example being against Aldo. While I can't see 5'9 170lbs Conor being much of a threat to 205lbs 6'4 Jones who dominated all but about 4 of his opponents (Gus in fight 1 who arguably won, DC in both fights, Silva who arguably won despite damaging his leg and Reyes who absolutely won) who are all far bigger than Conor with many of the same skills (e.g. DC with 10x the wrestling Conor has or Gus who is a master boxer in the realm of Conor - who in my opinion is a top 3 UFC striker) but I would never count Conor out in the streets as his fight IQ and instant analysis is too good, although one good plonk on your head on concrete and you could die. Was there anything in my comment that spurred you to inform me of the flow state? I only wrote a small joke comment and it seemed like a rather in-depth response? @KatameWazaBushi8 жыл бұрын
+Lord Mclean Conor and Cormier have the exact same reach. Cormier got inside the pocket almost each time he choose to before gassing in the 4th and 5th. The reason for this is due to Jon having poor footwork, he is not elusive and gets hit many times in quite a few fights. Mark my words, that flat footed thai stance with his size, and how much damage he takes on the feet... Jones will get KO'd on the next 4-5 fights I believe, and for certain will not be abel to string a sentence together by the end of his career. I respect Jones a lot, but that footwork will cost him. If you are going to be that flat footed and planted you need some pretty amazing faints, slips, shoulder rolls, and weaves; and Jon simply does not possess these skills as of now.

@TadhgMurphy14077 жыл бұрын
+g0dsboss24 Aldo often went more than a year without defending his belt, and then he whines about McGregor getting a fight with Alvarez and threatens to leave the UFC. You're making it sound like McGregor is the only fighter to have gone this long without defending his belt, when he's not. I sense a hint of jealousy. McGregor is a god. Plus, after his fight with Alvarez, I assume there will be an arrangement for a featherweight title fight, I can't see otherwise..
@TadhgMurphy14077 жыл бұрын
+g0dsboss24 and what about it? 😂 like I said he's only been champion for nine months, relax, he's obviously gonna defend his belt soon, I reckon Aldo will get his shot that he's been desperately waiting for after the Alvarez fight, depends on what's negotiated.. does Aldo deserve a rematch? Of course he fucking does, it all depends on when he'll get it, and I hope it's arranged soon, because that would be a sick fight. A bit touchy there with the Irish remarks bud 😂😂 I wouldn't call him the only Irish athlete we look up to but yes he is most certainly the most popular one

Conor was a better fighter when he was having fun and using that movement coach. More fluid in every way. Even if it was silly it worked for him at the time. Had he incorporated more wrestling and jiu jitsu and trained with the best of those techniques there's no telling what he could have accomplished. Money is everything and nothing at the same time

People are such idiots and most of the time you find the ones with the loud mouths never trained a day in their life. I've been to numerous MMA schools and training and fighting humbles you. It is a brotherhood. Conor and Jones would never fight there is to much of a weight difference and reach difference. If Conor was to come up it would slow him down drastically and I doubt if Jon Jones at 6'3 or whatever his exact height could get down to 185. However, they are brothers enjoying each other. You guys need to try the same and enjoy the video.
