I believe the kelly outfit were more hassled by police because they were Irish. It was more political than we were told. British ran Australia’. Joe kelly

REALLY? Don't you know that 82% of the police in Victoria at that time were IRISH?

Ned Kelly murdered three police officers at Stringybark Creek, who were all Irish. 82% of the police in Victoria were IRISH and two of the early premiers in Victoria were also Irish.

NOT TRUE. 82% of the police in Victoria at that time were IRISH. Two of the early premiers in Victoria were IRISH. Victoria was being run by the people who lived there, and that included the Irish.

I toured Glenrowan, Greta and Stringybark Creek several years ago. The Glenrowan Inn and Ned Kelly Museum is a must see for any Ned Kelly/Kelly Gang fan. Last year i was enjoying a midnight Ghost Tour of The Old Melbourne Gaol, which i got to be 1 ft away from Neds place of hanging. I felt it was incredibly sad and poignant. Oh and Neds last words were infact recorded as "Such is life!" and "Ah well, i suppose it has come to this"
