Pres.Kennedy knew how to make those who welcomed him feel warmly accepted and take pride in their kinship with him.He was a full-blooded Irish and we understand why the welcome he received was fit for more than a head of state but a returning triumphant son in whom the welcomers were very proud of.

Kennedy was so well loved in Ireland. It wasn't uncommon to find a photograph of the Pope and a photograph of Kennedy proudly hung in the home of an Irish Catholic family. It is so sad to think that kennedy would be assassinated months later in Dallas.

Yes he did.Even as he drove through Dallas. Before he was killed. He appeared to be quite happy. To be among the American people. With the tumultuous welcome. He and his wife received. Perhaps his memory and others.Who gave their lives for America. Will inspire Americans to seek a new path of greatness. Not in hatred, humiliation, denigration and disrespect for fellow Americans. Who are different in skin colour, political and religious beliefs and gender. May America continue to fulfill the destiny. That God has called her to.Through the dreams, aspirations and work.Of all who call America home.
