Unreal outfit, those FieldMaster Trailers are some job not to mention the merger. This machine leaves a better sword of fluffy grass with less chance of contamination, this is my opinion ..

1:49 Where did ye get a field that big in Galway 🤪 3:15 Don’t get those two tankers mixed up I used to work silage in the 90s around Oranmore- started off with a Zetor Crystal 8011, 2wd, no trailer lights or brakes, no mirrors...don’t know how I didn’t kill someone (got close a few times!!) I enjoy watching how others do things. But does anybody else watch this stuff from other countries and wonder if those farmer’s primary goal is to find the most expensive way to do something? Lots of wasted money in that operation. On a more positive note, that field is very clean. Not so much as a leaf laying on the ground when they are done.

Great video. Can anyone tell me the benefit of a merger like that over a rake?

This merger can rake any direction as seen in the video, it can be used as a conventional rake to rake 30 foot or double up the rows to 60 foot saving travelling time around the field. the other benefit is it doesnt pick any clay and cleans the ground better than a rake.

If shes not blue she'll not do no higher rpm needed in pro. Runs 750rpm so 1000 shaft and lower rpm

I'd imagine you could also use that on lucerne/alfafa without crop loss. A rake beats the crap out of lucerne.

Cutting with a mower conditioner then tedding it out then windowing it again? What stupidity ? An example of following trends and totally uneconomic. Why not adjust the conditioner to max and leave for a day or 2 or 3? This is nice machinery of course but it's overkill.
