Conowingo was Awesome in November 11th, 2019 I got some amazing shots that day. Hopefully I'll go again in the 2020. Im now following four nesting pairs of Bald eagles along the GW Parkway in Virginia. so far Ive gotten some fantastic flight shots near the nests. You ought to come down and check it out. There are many different places to photograph Bald Eagles here in the DMV area.

the peninsula is a great spot for wildlife, I go to southern DE/MD area where the marshlands are and look for our local carnivorous plants and will do macro photography and video of them catching gnats and male mosquitos

Hello Sir - Thank you for sharing the video. I'm planning a first-time trip to the Dam in a couple weeks (or when the weather breaks). Based on your experience, when is the best time to go and get a good spot? Can you recommend a good spot? Thank you in advance!

The Newman Files hi how are you try to get there as early as you can I usually get there by 6:30 am you get all the active eagles till 9 or 10 and the best spot is by the steps in the front of the dam. But just check is there is any eagles there first by calling cause usually the best months are October- December but if you go have a great time and thanks for the comment

@@abummmm Thank you for the quick response! Now we just need the weather to get above 40.....wifey is not a fan of the cold. Even above 40 she will probably dress and look like the stay-puff marshmallow man. This will be my first time shooting birds with my D850, can't wait!
