Is this course good for me if I need to do my own home in a short period of time?

Yes! These are the same methods used on TV's hoarders where we do clean-outs in 4 days. We have a large drew, but the process is the same...katherine-lawrence.teachable.com/p/tackle-the-hoard

Disappointed. These tips are for your TV show and business. The 'tips' are common sense. Thanks anyway. I hope these tips help someone else that needs to promote a TV show episode or get my business started or enroll in a class

Hello good video thanks. 🪻🌾🪻 What is the difference between "traditional methods" and other methods used in certain extreme cases? And - What is a checklist for signs to look out for whether someone is psychologically ready to declutter? Is it a case of motivating and encouraging people as you go along, or do they have to be in the right headspace before starting?

Traditional methods include looking at each object and making a decision before moving on to the next item. When dealing with extreme clutter one can often get overwhelmed before finishing a room. Mindset is very important!! Start with *anything* that can be removed without too much stress and then move to another category . If no progress can be made without extreme stress, the person is not ready. Stress signs for me are mental confusion, anger, defensiveness, walking away, and an inability to communicate.

@@KatherineLawrenceCPO thanks. Some of the signs you describe sound a bit like 'emotional dysregulation' which is a high stress state! Good to know 🙏 Ps. another form of emotional dysregulation can be the 'freeze' or shutdown state so that might be one that goes under the radar but good to look out for - especially for new professionals if they think someone is just 'a bit quiet', but actually in emotional dysregulation.
