I was abused as a child. I had a parent who NEVER let me have an opinion. I was almost 100% rejected. Even after earning a Bachelor's degree I didn't have the confidence i Needed in life. I then was injured in a car accident and that left me with a spinal cord injury. I had a dream after my accident: an angel led me to scenes of my life and told me I was "reliving by not forgiving". I am now learning to forgive. IT FEELS great!

This is exactly my experience and it started when I was a child and haunted me my whole life. I got saved at 30, but still did not have victory of the Root of Rejection. The yo-yo Christian life was exactly me, but I believe I am now being delivered from this. This Rejection has kept me out of ministry leadership and having fulfilling relationships. I read Joyce Meyers book on the Root of Rejection and it really opened my eyes. This teaching is great. Thanks!

+KathrynJ. Briley What do you do when there is no one to deliver you. Sometimes when there is unbelief around, God's manual says 'do it yourself.' That is why we have the scriptures but we need the eye of discernment to see and know the spirit world and here is what the Bible says,… I Corinthians 12 says: 10 and to another the effecting of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another the distinguishing of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills. We read the scriptures search ourselves and repent. What is being taught in deliverance is all there in the scriptures but everything has been watered down in the present day. I don't deny that sometimes self deliverance won't work. We have to confess many a time to put the devil to shame and cause him to take flight but we need the right people. We can't do it to novices, can we? There is no occasion with strictures such as 'you can't or you can' but time instructs and we definitely need authority on many occasions as a covering. This is my understanding.

I tell myself I am loved and imagine i am able to hug myself...I even picture myself as a little girl and i say things like, "Stephanie, I love you so much. You are so smart and funny. You crack me up. I like how you help others when they need it and how you are always trying to do once things for your parents. I bet they appreciate all you do and I know that God is so proud of you." It may sound silly but its has helped me a great deal. I am currently trying to learn as much as possible about the spirit of rejection because i can't fight the battle in my mind if i am not educated on it. Educating yourself is important to renewing your mind.

I have always been able to forgive, sometimes I have felt like I have been used more because of that. My first marriage was hard and I lived an imaginative life, pretending it was happy and everything fine. At age forty nine I told my elder sister about my pretence. She was shocked and told me I had to stop doing that. I did, and it was then the rose coloured glasses came off and I saw my husband for what he was. This strengthened me to walk away. My children have suffered and still do, I hurt for them. I am now seventy two years old. My eldest daughter told me to watch this and we are sharing it with my other three children. Thank you.

This was so good. I am 46 years old and many things that my parents "gave me" are still with me today but NONE like the words "I hate you and wish you were never born. NO ONE will ever love you. You will never fit in. You are used goods...you will be alone your whole life." (and more) I convinced myself that it was true. They taught me that God was a Santa Claus God who sat up in Heaven watching everything you did looking and seeing everything wrong you do and holding it against you waiting to send you to Hell. I cannot tell you how these things have impacted my life...and my mom died 26 years ago when I was 19...my dad 11 years ago. I do not say those things to my daughter or to other people...I encourage people and speak love into their lives...but not mine. I do tend to feel alone and deserted (by two husbands even though I tried so hard to be "perfect" so they'd love me.). Sometimes my daughter shows she feels the same...though I have NEVER told her these horrible things...but her dad and his family walked out of her life when she was born...and came in and out for 18 years...mostly out. I never spoke ugly about them or about how they treated her, I said Love them anyway. I wonder if i should have let her be mad. Anyway...I needed this. It was AWESOME.

It was not your parents saying that to you. It was the demon of rejection in their brain trying to hurt you. You don't have your parents anymore. Your Heavenly Father has replaced them and He would never hurt you for any reason.

You are dead on! My mom was rejected by her family her whole life and so that was all she knew. My parents were never actively trying to hurt me but were tormented by the evil that was attached to their lives through the things that happened to them. The Bible is very clear about our battles being NOT with flesh and blood (people) but instead with the evils of the spirit world! I would be lying if i said that I never think about those things and that they do not effect my life...of course they did and of course I do remember. The good news is that as I grow closer and closer to Jesus and learn more about what God said about me (I am chosen, I am wanted, I am accepted, I am redeemed, I am a princess, etc...)...the less and less I think on those old words and the less they hurt me. 46 years later I can say that I seldom think on those hurtful words...but because I know what the Bible says about me...I am filled with the JOY of the Lord and THAT is what I think about. The Spirit of Rejection ruined my life before and even after I was born again. I am finally confronting this now to get totally free and stop the yoyo.ing...but my real concern is for my son who MUST overcome these rejection demons. There is no sin or rejection in heaven. Maurice Skylar had a vision he was in heaven and said he could be himself, there was no fear of rejection. I had a dream recently a family member I didn't get along with was nice to my family, because there is no pride in heaven. Can't wait!

I was going through that same problem. In my opinion the lord has lead me to believe through constant prayed and answers that we must forgive to keep our hearts clean and pure for God. However there is also a verse in the bible that mentions staying away from evil If you genuinely sense that you've given enough and forgiven enough and that the person is still not looking to change then you must leave. You cannot change anyone who doesn't want to change. Often times the change comes through hardships that they will face on their own. Set boundaries.
