I already loved this song when it was released , however - the end of last year ended on a horrible note and I’ll save the details. I became close with my ex’s gf, and helped her through the process of escaping him. I introduced her to this song because I knew she would relate. She would send me videos of her young kids singing this song. Bottom line this is my FAVORITE song from CD and it became an anthem for myself and my friend this past year. She escaped him just as I had to do years prior- and with his rights getting terminated to my daughter, I can now say ‘we don’t know who you are’ 🤍 Sorry for the dumb, I hardly ever comment on videos- but I had to share.

There aren't many times I pop KZbin on and immediately pick something. This was one of those times. I heard the audio when it first dropped, and I was left wishing it had been an entire album.
