What Ymir`s Shadow is only 540 it took me 6 days to beat it while great bulwark was done in 3th try its either that take a break from the game made me better or the mountain difficulty isnt balanced

The expert mountains have a 3.12 height multiplier so bulwark is about 700 and st is about 2300. Obviously this doesn't make them any less intimidating lmao.

Difficulty is pretty consistent, Bulwark was surprisingly easy compared to Ymir's Shadow, I agree. Maybe it's because Ymir's Shadow has far less safety nets? However Solemn Tempest's difficulty is very consistent with a bunch of choke points and much harder sections. @@istoleurbread2023

By the way! You can crampon jump MORE THAN ONCE. You can get 2 full power crampon jumps, after that they get significantly weaker until you either get on a slope that not too steep to "regain your stamina", hold onto ice with your pickaxe or grab a hold. Crampon jumps are absolutely essential for the Solemn Tempest.
