Creo que es absolutamente irresponsable gastar tantísimos litros de agua, para lavar una alfombra casi podrida. Dudo que visto de cerca conserve sus características originales: mullida, con volumen y fibras sin deterioro. También pienso, que cubren una buena alfombra de arcilla o similar y luego aplican el tratamiento de limpieza. Todo es excesivo. No es posible volver a la vida una alfombra con moho y suciedad que pudren los nudos del tapiz.

Usually these rugs are found abandoned for whatever reason, or they were used by the family pet. This one in particular seems to have been left sitting in a swamp for quite some time.

That was quite impressive! Usually by the time Dirt Reynolds goes over it the first time, you’ve got a pretty good idea of how it’s going to look, but the beauty of this didn’t really start to come through until the second round, after the back was washed. Great work!

I honestly thought you were going to end up throwing that rug away after using so much product on it. It looked like someone dumped a large container of black ink on the one corner that would have permanently stained the rug. I watched it all but still have a hard time understanding or believing you got that rug so perfectly clean. GREAT job!

I think that black thing is pollution. The rug has been dumped in a dumpster, maybe, rolled, and the corner which was exposed to the air had "filtered" dusts and pollution from the ambiant air. The lungs of peoples living in big cities are like that...

I find myself thinking of the machines by their names lol. "Wow Dirt Reynolds got so much sludge out!" Or "the foam coming out of R2 Clean2 is whiter than it usually is at this point!" 😅 You are the only person I've found who really meets my own standard of cleanliness. Other channels I often get annoyed that the water coming out is still mucky and they just dry it. Like what?! That's not clean!!!

This is probably the filthiest rug you have cleaned. The amount of thick, black mud was unbelievable and yet the final cleaning was the most amazing one yet. I always try to guess the original color of the rug with the first application of soap. I never would have guessed all these beautiful colors. Especially with all the mud that went into the trough I wouldn't mind another video of you cleaning it.

It had me thinking of other neat names for tools. There was that one rug you had that was covered in hair. It got me thinking of the name "Dirty Hairy". I can't get enough of your videos! That was an amazing transformation. Normally you can get hints of the pattern underneath the muck, but this time it was just muck and the pattern was not discernable until after the first pass with the rotary brush. Great work. On a side note, have you ever thought about doing a series of youtube shorts where you answer questions from fans? Just 30-45 seconds long.

Don't believe everything you see. He probably applies most of the dirt himself to get a more drastic effect and a more clickable thumbnail. You won't find perfect condition rugs under piles of dirt like that on a regular base to fit your weekly upload schedule.

He does a great job. I don’t believe he applies the dirt himself he shows footage retrieving from the dumpster and he says there are plenty rugs that he was unable to clean and that were damaged that he didn’t upload.

Such a pretty rug, I'm glad you saved it. It amazes me that all this dirt and sludge on some of these rugs doesn't stain the fibres, or do we just not get to see those ones. If possible, it'd be great to hear the back story of how these rugs get so dirty.
