The reason that Barrier wasn't going for spikes often is because it's pretty unreliable and easy to dodge. I should know. I've used it before. Obviously the buffs for Barrier now makes it a bit better but spikes is still pretty reliable. The smilodon hit of times I've used spikes on Barrier and hit it is probably 5-10 times. Soz for waffling.
