So with Zweihanders, the proper way to use them is charge them in, hit their 2, then pull them out after they’ve done the five swings their 2 allows? Okay, but what about their 1? What should that ability mainly be utilized for?

The skill number 1 is used when you are stuck and cant get out Or want to dash out some small amount of damage quickly Maybe to finish of some ranged units or so Or to hold vs cavalry (blue and below )

Purple cavalry and higher will easily break through since they are tanky enough to handle the first impact "which will no kill them nor even stop their charge " A horse stops for 3 reasons 1.a skill effect or a pike or passive of special weapons like muskets or bolt arrows 2.the horse dies on impact "as in fortibraccios case " 3. Or after recieving a set amount of damage This last cause is almost neglected for purple and higher And so they will not stop. Ofc this is applied only to cavalry with momentum So for example if u did manage to sneak on a hussars or cataphract unit and braced right in front of them And they charged they will stop in place and the charge will be cancelled and so u can get them with ease Same applies at the moment where they end their charge with no momentum

He explained it wrong for you. You ALWAYS need to brace first if possible, hit 1, then hit 1 again because it gives you block for some seconds. Then hit 2. If you hit 1 while your Zweihanders are max health, they'll get 30% health boost and 30% damage boost. 1 is essential. And yes while it can be used if you are stuck and cant get out, thats not it's main purpose.

I don't think Varangians and Zweihanders belong in this list. Sure they can be okay, but they are nowhere as strong as let's say Companion Cavalry, Wuvei Mansion Guard or Iron Reapers. They are not worth your trouble to unlock them if you just started.

terrible list. half these units are unplayable right now due to nerfs and buffs to other units. and the other half just suck now. all the new seasonal units are way better then anything you put.
