Conquest Step 26: Sacrifice Marth to cheese the map

I will be playing an Ironman challenge run of Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest on Lunatic Difficulty. This'll be pretty rough. I'll start from chapter 1 and try to proceed to the end of the game.
I won't be using DLC, though I will allow amiibos and other things like it, as long as it's not from the Dragon's Gate menu. I won't be hiring outside units from other players, either.
In Ironman runs, I am not allowed to reset the game, use savepoints, or save states. Each action or occurrence is as a result, permanent. Any characters that die will remain dead for the rest of the run, and if I lose the game, the run is over.
If I fail the run and need to restart, I will begin at the Branch of Fate, meaning I will not need to replay chapters 1-6. This is mostly because the earlier chapters aren't really part of the Conquest route.

I like Iago purely for the fact that he always did his job. He didn't scheme behind Garon's back and he actually tried to win the war for his homeland. He never showed any interest in money or power, he simply worked for the sake of his failing country the best way he could. (serious) And yet, this patriotic saint of a man was slain by the traitors of the crown who wished to murder the king and give away power to the enemy country. Co(unte)rrin was a foreign agent from the start, but the kind hearted King Garon just couldn't execute his adopted son. Truly a tragedy for the ages. Fuck Hans tho.

The dialogue before this chapter makes me realize that Conquest's story would have been about a billion times better if the Nohrian Royals were planning on killing Iago and Hans from the start (perhaps assassinating Hans at the top of Notre Sagesse, since it's so isolated it'd be a perfect place) while Corrin, being an absolute naive dumbass, would say "b-but why can't we just arrest them? Killing is wrong!" *THEN* Xander does that "Justice is an illusion" speech, making the Nohrian Royals seem pragmatic instead of "okay, after we killed 2 out of 4 Hoshidan royals, countless troops, civilians, Lilith, and all the people who died in this Ironman Run, NOW we'll kill them"

This was the map that changed my classic mode run into a phoenix mode run (I had started on Hard but had already bumped it down to Normal somewhere along the way). At the end of the map, I had Effie positioned to tank incoming generals. I had calculated that she could tank two of them, but not three. She was in range of three, but there were only two spaces available next to her, so I thought I was in the clear. Effie then proceeded to crit and kill the second general that attacked her, so the third walked up and killed her.

A fitting end for the bloodthirsty demon that was the "Hero" King. He himself sent countless allies to their untimely demise all so he could achieve his goals. Now, he has become yet another pawn sacrificed as coldly and uncaringly as he did with his "dear" friends. May his soul never again disturb our realm.

I quitted the game on my lunatic playthough at the Ryoma chapter, thinkink I wouldn't be able to do it (Knew about the stacking debuffs, and I already had a real hard time on hard). 6 months later, it was a breeze. But I didn't expect this chapter to be this hard. (I never use staff in my runs, nor statboosters, but I almost had to for this chapter). Especially the last room, I couldn't think of a viable startegy with my team at the time, and I think I won thanks to some luck.
