Wow, the Conrad is also an astoundingly beautiful place. What a treat to have cleared customs at the Samui airport and then the chauffeur gives you fresh coconut water and coconut chocolate cookies and a clean face towel. Then after that enjoyable 1 hour ride check in with something to drink and off to your nice modern villa with a wine bottle, cookies again, fresh South East Asia fruits unknown to me in the Northeast of the US - NYC. The restaurant is more rustic in decoration but the food presentation and the food looked very appealing and fresh. Wow, the beach here is so small and rocky. I do not know about you but you see the South East Asian island nations with coconut white soft sand and the clear blue waters and then one comes to this and it is somewhat of a disappointment. I agree with you that the Four Seasons on Koh Samui island is the best in more ways than one.

I wish for someone to answer my question, I’m going to stay here in this resort my question is should I tip the hotel staff? Is it expected that I tip them?

i know its hot in thailand , nonetheless this is a 5 star luxury hotel, servers, receptionists etc really shouldnt be wearing strap sandals and flipflops. lol
