It looks like the speeds at Sandusky Bay were much higher under Conrail than they are under Norfolk Southern. Excellent old school video!

I go to the station in Amherst on a Weekly basis and to see what it was like 20 years ago is kind of hilarious a lot is changed since then the two coaches and caboose are gone and the depot was recently bought by the city of Amherst to be turned into a park not demolished though it’s gonna be kept renovated restored you get the picture The old station tracks are they’re still overgrown but also part of the renovation and trains still go up and down the Chicago line daily up to 80 a day
